The Frequency and Relationship Between Injury Incidence and Players' Positions in Female Field Hockey
The aim of this study was to examine the frequency and relationship between injury incidence and players’ positions in female field hockey. Previous researches proved that goalkeepers would have the highest rate of injury, followed by forwards. 158 female field hockey players at the FIH Champions Challenge II (Women) 2011 completed an anonymous questionnaire. They reported personal characteristics (age, height, weight); field hockey information (level, years of experience, surface); injury history (type, site, cause, severity); and back pain information. Injury rates were calculated per athlete-year. The most frequently injured site of the body was the lower limb (51%), followed by the head/face (34%), upper limb (14%), and torso (1%). The most prevalent types of injuries were ankle sprains, followed by hand fractures and head/face injuries. Goalkeepers had the highest rate of injury (0.58 injuries/athlete-year), whereas midfielders were the most injured field players (0.36 injuries/athlete-year). Back pain was reported by 59% of the sample, and the lower back was the most common site of this pain. The researcher concluded that there are differences in the rates of injury among playing positions in female field hockey and in the types of acute injury sustained at each position. The high number of injuries to the head and face region is also cause for concern. Although most of these injuries are minor, the serious injuries that do occur can be very severe. The researcher recommends that further examination of the playing situations that lead to injury should be undertaken to design proper prevention strategies.

The Basic Physical Characteristics of High Level Rowers
The physical measurements are highly related to the athletic field. Every athletic activity has special physical requirements distinguish it from other activities. These requirements reflected on the physical characteristics that anyone who practices any specific activity should have so that he could reach the highest levels in the practiced activity. The availability of the appropriate physical measurements data is important as an indicator that must be available so that the players could reach the highest possible athletic level. The research aims at identifying the basic physical characteristics of high level rowers. The research sample was randomly selected from rowers enrolled in the records of the Egyptian Rowing Federation for the season 2011. The sample consisted of 18 rowers from the rowing clubs in Alexandria and Ismailia, and was selected based registraion in the records of the Egyptian Rowing Federation, participation in competitions for no less than two consecutive years and winning one of the top three positions in the adult rower competitions. The study recommends using the selected battery of physical measurements for rowers to develop the activity through improving the selection by using the battery and the standard grades extracted, and upgrading training operations by improving the level of maximum strength, especially for the legs. When selecting rowers, the following measurements should be considered: height - sitting height - forearm and palm length - ratio of the legs length - the grip strength - the maximum strength of the legs. Training should increase the relative strength of the muscles of the body through muscle strength training, especially for the legs, raising the level of the relative strength of the body as a whole.

Building an Evaluation Model in the Light of the Mechanical Profile of Back-Telna-Back Skill in Rhythmic Gymnastics
Studying the kinematics of sports performance is one of the most complicated problems and this can be referred to the difficulty of controlling these variables the influencing factors. This study aims for building an evaluation model for back-telna-back skill in the light of the biomechanical profile. The research was applied on a sample of distinguished rhythmic gymnastics players (N=6) performing at the international level. Anthropometric and physical measurements were taken in addition to evaluating the level of performing the skill of back-telna-back. Kinematicographic analysis was applied on the recorded trials to obtain the most effective biomechanical factors to help in building the recommended model. The most important results showed that the strength of back muscles and the front and back flexibility of legs as well as dynamic balance were the most important physical variables influencing the skill performance where the length of trunk and feet were the most important anthropometric variables influencing this skill performance. The researcher recommends applying further researches to build similar models for other skills depending on the biomechanical profile of the skill.

The Effect of a Recommended Exercise Program on Some Physical and Psychological Variables for Lower Limb Disabled Children
Exercise programs were proved to be very important for disabled population as it helps in compensating some abilities that were naturally lost due to the nature of the disability. This is why researchers in the field of disability and sports always care about developing programs to increase the ability of movement and mobility for disabled people in addition to enhancing their psychological state, especially children as the importance of these programs in childhood is more than its importance for adults. The researcher aims for developing some physical and psychological variables for Lower limb disabled children from 9 to 12 years old (n=20) through an exercise program "free and with tools". The physical variables were chosen and determined through a questionnaire that was distributed among academic experts and Paralympics coaches. The researchers used the experimental method on one group using pre, intra and post measurements to measure muscular strength (Maximum static strength – Power), Maximum arms speed and muscular power for arms. In addition to measuring the rate of physical self esteem as one of the most important psychological characteristics for disabled populations through a newly designed questionnaire that was proved reliable for measuring this variable. The results showed the presence of significant differences between pre, intra and post measurements in the values of strength, power and speed in favor of the intra measurement against the pre measurement and in favor of the post measurement against the pre and intra measurements. Also, the presence of significant differences between pre, intra and post measurements in favor of the intra measurement against the pre measurement and in favor of the post measurement against the pre and intra measurements in the values of self esteem, which proves that the recommended program had a positive effect in developing the physical and psychological variables subject to study. The researchers recommend using exercise programs to develop different physical and psychological abilities for disabled children.

Effects of the Commercial Energy Drink (Red Bull) on College Students Athletic Performance and Anthropometric Variables
There is a worldwide problem with consumption of energy drinks especially with college students. Many researchers have suggested the negative side effects that go along with high consumption of these drinks especially ones that contain caffeine. The high rate consuming energy drinks (Red Bull) among college students may lead to many health problems. The initial purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of consumption of commercial energy drinks among Kuwaiti college students. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the effects of the caffeinated energy drink (Red Bull) on aerobic performance, anaerobic performance and body composition of college students were further investigated. A self-administered survey was collected from 84 students randomly selected from Department of Physical Education and Sports to assess the consumption patterns and knowledge of energy drinks. Awareness of college students of the ingredients and potential health hazards of energy drinks (Red Bull) should be emphasized in the college curriculum through nutritional and health education classes. Although we reported improvement in anaerobic performance, Red Bull should not be used for this purpose.
